A swimming pool heat pump is an economical system to heat an outdoor swimming pool.
The operating principle is quite simple: the heat in the air (the temperature of which is above 5°C) is trapped and transferred to the swimming pool water. Pool Covers are a must. In my opinion you would be wasting your money if you didn’t use a pool cover in conjunction with your heating system as most swimming pool heat loss occurs at the waters surface and a pool cover will reduce this considerably as well as reducing the size of the pool heating system itself.
