Both Villas are now roofed , the final blocks are being placed on the roof of the second villa and we will be ready for pouring the concrete in the next couple of days.

Builders Lanzarote – New villa construction.
We have now started to lay the blocks for the first villa and it is starting to take shape. This is the view from the back of the villa where you can see the shapes of the rooms.

The acro props have been put into position to support the main structure of the ceiling of the basement. All the ceiling blocks are in place. We will finish the final steel work on Monday morning ready for pouring the concrete for the roof. This will be the first stage of the major construction work

Today we are pouring the final concrete for the completion of the basement walls for the second villa. We will also pour all the supporting columns for the first storey. The technical control and quality control technicians visited the site this morning and gave us the ok to pour the concrete. We have started to

Things are starting to take shape. We have finished the foundations on the second villa. The concrete has been poured, levelled and then vibrated to take out any air bubbles. 60 cubic metres of concrete have gone into the foundations, 8 lorry loads.
